This post might seem a bit weird and out of place, but with the newly opened Miskatonic University I thought that it was a good time to write this post.
I simply want to say thank you, I remember the feeling of being lost when I discovered that I really didn't believe in the previous religion I was part of (for various reasons). I felt lonely, and in some way angry, my whole world and my view of it... was gone.
But then one evening a friend of mine suggested to me, a book by the name of The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath. So I started reading... and the more I read of it, the more curious I became. And with a seemingly random set of events, I stumbled upon this website whilst looking for information on The Great Old One himself.
So of course I plugged in my earphones, started my favorite H.P. Lovecraft inspired music and began reading the content of the website. And again, the more I read, the more curious I became... the more I started to believe again.
So here I am, a proud member of the Cult of Cthulhu, that simply want to express my gratitude.
I want Wyntre to know what great job he's done with the cult and how much he's helped me, and when I read the different posts in the Introduce Yourself section, I sincerely believe that I'm far from the only one with a story of finding hope and guidance from the cult and it's followers, in a time of what seemed like endless, meaningless darkness.
So thank you too all the great members of the cult, and thank you Wyntre.
Iä Iä Cthulhu fhtagn!
Welcome Brother.
Welcome to the cult brother in the void
Exciting journey along another Left Hand Path. You people seem very kind and polite and the dialogue is constructive as far as I can gather. Keep up the good work along the self-evolution towards I-Theism.
Very well said fellow cultist. I really do love this community. It would be amazing for the entire cult to gather in one place. Chanting as one in praise of the old ones.
I am humbled. Thank you. I only hope that my contributions to The Cult serve to bring us all closer together and rise up stronger than before. May They Rise
That was so wholesome, I actually love this community! I hope we can all gather someday and truly celebrate!
Well said fellow cultist
