It's been an exciting past few weeks, with a lot of new faces appearing, just in time for The Festivities. A great online gathering was held on our discord server, I believe the largest we've ever had, and a good night was had by all who attended!
I'm sure there are many of us who desperately desire to attend actual, in person, gatherings. And I'm sure once the pandemic is over, talk of gatherings will begin to spread like wildfire! However, solo reverence is just as fulfilling an experience as any. I have the luxury of living in the countryside of Ireland, and on the 15th I embarked on a small journey through a nearby woods. With some supplies in hand, that I had originally intended to be used for an abomination, I came across a beautiful, small clearing and I just knew I wanted to make it my Sanctum.
I got to work making a dreamlands artifact, using some twine, a small hoop, and some bones from an already dead sheep skeleton that I found abandoned in a field. The process itself was meditative, and in classic Nygosh fashion, it wouldn't be complete without an aura of eerie discomfort.
A Sanctum wouldn't be complete without an idol, so I gathered a few sticks and in no time at all, I made a twig idol, incorporating the skull of the aforementioned sheep. When all was placed on a tree for display, I loudly shouted my name into the dense woods, and my Sanctum felt complete.
After a few minutes Void Meditating and simply appreciating the nature, I made my way home. We may not be able to celebrate at gatherings yet, but we can all venture into the world and celebrate nonetheless. That is not dead which can eternal lie,
