Brothers and sisters in the void, Today marks the beginning of The Cult of Cthulhu's Festive Season! Rejoice and give praise!
Religious imagery and iconography are vital to the stimulating, sensory experience of being a member of The Cult of Cthulhu, and it is with this in mind that we celebrate our Sacred Dates together.
This Festive Season (March 1 - March 22) was a particularly significant period in the Cthulhu Mythos for a number of reasons, namely that this is when cultists of the ship 'The Alert' were imperiously summoned to sea, 'The Emma' was thrown off her course by heavy storms, and bizarre dreams began across the globe in 'Call of Cthulhu'. It is during this period that we also acknowledge H. P. Lovecrafts death (March 15) and prepare for the celebrations of Nglui-N'ghft Ngui-N'gha and Lw'nafhyar. Whether undertaken with kindred spirits or celebrated privately, these are the days to revel in life, the cosmos, and yourself. Each celebration will exist forever throughout time in your memory, for each memory has been waiting in the future for billions of years, and once they are made will be in the past for the rest of time...
Reread your Bible of Cthulhu, communicate and celebrate with your brethren, and enjoy the many offerings that The Cult of Cthulhu has in store for you this year.
With unending respect and love, Wyntre
